The company has produced toners and
components for its Absolute Black, X Generation and Absolute Colour brands,
including both printer and MICR products.
The first of
four Absolute Black launches
is toner formula and components for use in HP Inc’s LaserJet Pro M402 and M426
MFP monochrome machines, with the printers using the OEM’s JetIntelligence
printing technology. Uninet commented that the technology “incorporates a
combination of machine features to monitor the printing performance of the
toner cartridges based on drum wear
and other factors to optimise print quality, page yield and cartridge life”.
These
“represent a real challenge to remanufacturers”, with the devices using the
CF226A and CF226X cartridges, with respective yields of 3,100 pages and 9,000
pages. The second Absolute Black launch is toner formula and
components for Samsung’s Pro Xpress SL-M 4580 MFP monochrome series, with
features including dual scanning and print speeds of 48ppm, and high-yield
toner cartridges rated at 40,000 pages alongside drums
rated at 10,000 pages.
The third Absolute
Black release is MICR toner for
HP Inc’s LaserJet Pro M402 and Enterprise M506 monochrome series, with the M402
part of the JetIntelligence range as well. Both devices are “suitable for
speciality MICR cheque printing applications”, with the toners qualified and
meeting “ANSI, ABAand CBA specifications when matched with a compatible drum”.
Finally, another Absolute BlackMICR toner was launched for Xerox’ Phaser 4510 machine, with speeds of 45ppm
and a duty cycle of 200,000 pages per month. The MICR toner formulation was
“made available in response to multiple customer enquiries”, and “with all
other components already available, simply replace the regular toner with MICR
toner and you are good to go”, the toner also meeting all MICR specifications.
The first of two X Generationreleases was multipurpose colour toner for the HP Inc M252, M452 and M552
series, with the toner “a new general-purpose produced toner formula” providing
“outstanding print quality and glossy vibrant colours”, and the “lowest cost
solution with OEM parts, and a very low cost per page”.
The toner is also “qualified with
all OEM and Uninet components”, and is available in a one kilogramme bottle so
remanufacturers have “the flexibility of carrying less inventory and a fewer
number of SKUs”. Uninet stated that it offers a “complete remanufacturing
solution” for the CF400A and CF400X cartridges used in the printers as well.
The second X Generation launch is multipurpose
colour toner formula for use in the Lexmark C/X 792 series, qualified to work
“on over 30 models” and “qualified with all OEM and Uninet components”, again
available in a one kilogramme bottle and providing “outstanding print quality
and glossier vibrant colours […] and a very low cost per page”. OEM cartridges
come in standard and extra high-yield versions, and Uninet believes “this
leaves lots of room of opportunity and profitability for a remanufacturer with
some expertise in colour cartridges”, while the AIO design is “similar to previous
Lexmark models”.
Finally, the first of two Absolute Colourlaunches is pigmented ink for the HP Inc OfficeJet Pro machines utilising the
970 and 950 inkjet cartridges, which come in standard and high yield versions
and are used in a wide range of the OEM’s devices. The inks “provide the
highest density colour prints [in] the industry” according to Uninet, with
“premium quality, vibrant and fade-resistant colours with superior results and
brilliant, true-to-life output”. The
inks work in continuous inkjet systems and come in one kilogramme “easy to
handle” bottles.
The second Absolute Colour launch is toner and
components for HP Inc’s CP6015 colour printer series, the toner supplies costs
for which “are very high”, with the printer using a separate toner and drum cartridge. Uninet believes this “is a
potentially very profitable cartridge because it is considered easy to
remanufacture”, with only the toner and smartchip needing to be replaced”.
For all of the above cartridges, the
company noted that it offers a “complete product solution to serve the needs of
remanufacturers”.
